The project starts from the assumption that sustainable change in schools happens through:
- the principled thinking and practices of teachers rather than through the imposition of external models
- students taking more responsibility for the development of the curriculum and the processes and outcomes of their geographical learning.

In this video John Morgan outlines his thoughts on the take-up of young people’s geographies in geography education.
