Café conversations: a process for engaging young people
What does the word ‘café’ conjure up for you? Images of informal, relaxed, comfortable social spaces, where people meet together to talk freely - a space associated with conversation?
The aim of the World Café is to provide some structure and guidance on how to establish genuine conversation in order to develop mutual understandings and shared perspectives. As a concept it has some important messages for ways of initiating conversations and working together, including with young people.
