Teachers and students sharing perspectives
To engage young people in the conversation process can be challenging, but with a relevant agenda it can be impressive how willing students are to participate.
The need to understand is a two way process, and just as we would want teachers to understand students, the reverse also applies; students also need to understand teachers and the thinking that informs the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of school geography. Rarely are students afforded such an insight.
