Participatory Curriculum Development

I have been thinking about a curriculum model that would apply to the YPG pedagogy ever since we met a week ago. With its emphasis on student voice my thinking has taken me down the road of participatory curriculum development (PCD). My thoughts and explorations around this concept are very embryonic, but it seems like a good starting point to debate the curricular implications of YPG pedagogy. It seems that PCD is associated much more with adult education (andragogy) than young people's education (pedagogy). It also seems to be a growing movement in the developing world, but so far I haven't really found anything that revolves around PCD in the compulsory school curriculum. What are other project members thoughts abou this?
